Rafael Nadal bounced back from two sets to reach the
fifth set final of the Australian Open against Daniil Medvedev, who won the US
Open.
After Medvedev led 6-2, 7-6, Nadal won the third and
fourth sets 6-4, 6-4. (5).
Nadal broke to go 5-3 in Game 04, then took a point,
but Medvedev saved it and stuck it in to force the 20-time champion to serve
again.
It was no problem for Nadal, and he remained
determined to continue. The match lasted 4 hours and 12 minutes.
The 35-year-old Spaniard is still in the running for
the 21st men's title.
He was broken in a game that lasted over 12 minutes,
and Ghazi knocked him down the court, so he couldn't serve in the second set. As
