According to Le10 Sport, Chelsea has contacted Paris Saint-Germain about a potential trade for winger Neymar.
In 29 appearances in all competitions this season, the 31-year-old scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists. However, injuries and the club's desire to sell a number of high-profile players may cause PSG to part ways with the Brazil international.
With Neymar's possible exit opening up finances to hire the Manchester City star, PSG has prioritised hiring Bernardo Silva ahead of the upcoming season.
According to the report, the club would reportedly look for a "good" price for Neymar's sale. Neymar joined the team from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a then-record cost of €222 million.
After a poor season in which Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League, new manager Mauricio Pochettino is considering bringing in a number of well-known players for the upcoming campaign. Neymar is no new to Pochettino, who oversaw the winger when serving as PSG manager in 2021–2022.
