A star Paris Saint-Germain player has declared his departure from the French club, just 24 hours after the announcement of Kylian Mbappé's departure at the end of the current season. Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas shared on his Instagram account: “Every moment I have had at the Parc des Princes has been great.” He also said: "I am extremely proud to represent the badge of this jersey and to play in the extraordinary atmosphere of this stadium." Navas joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019 from Real Madrid, and in his first season he contributed to the team's historic qualification for the Champions League final.
However, Paris Saint-Germain saw their European title slip away in the last match against Bayern Munich with an unanswered goal in 2020.
Over the past two seasons, Navas has given up his place in Saint-Germain's starting XI to Gianluigi Donnarumma, after spending the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
